The figurine series was created primarily for stock photography licensing, as well as assignment work. These images were photographed on both transparency film and in digital format, using macro and micro lenses. The figurines and many of the props are high quality model railroad supplies; most of the figurines are approximately 1” tall.
The figurine series is my answer to the never-ending quest for simple images that can illustrate a range of concepts. Figurines can arranged in scenarios that would be impossible with real people and props, making it easier to illustrate such concepts as ‘Hanging by a Thread’ and ‘Standing out in a Crowd’.
